Benjamin van Dyke

Benjamin Van Dyke is an accomplished education technology professional with a strong background in curriculum development, program coordination, and teaching. Currently serving as the Director of Technology at Montessori Academy of Chicago since August 2018, Benjamin has successfully initiated and established the Academy's Technology/STEAM program, improved connectivity and hardware management, and instructed students in essential computer skills and computer science concepts. Previous experience includes developing computer science curricula for grades K-5 at Code To The Future and coordinating programming for Stoked Mentoring Inc. Additionally, Benjamin has a decade-long tenure as a teacher with the NYC Department of Education, emphasizing the integration of technology in educational settings. Benjamin holds a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Bank Street College of Education and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Binghamton University.
