Ages: Toddler - 6th Grade

The Montessori Community School offers a traditional, comprehensive Montessori curriculum including language, mathematics, sensorial, practical life, geography, history, physical and life sciences, Spanish, creative movement and dance, music, art, theater, computers and other technology, nutrition, physical education, winter sports, peace education, conflict resolution and environmental stewardship. Learning extends beyond the classroom through field trips, environmental expeditions and community service. Our Toddler program accepts children aged eighteen months to three years. Our Early Childhood program accepts children aged three years through six years. Our Lower Elementary School offers placements for first, second and third graders, Upper Elementary for fourth, fifth and sixth graders.

The Early Childhood Education Team at Montessori Community School is responsible for guiding and nurturing children aged three to six through a comprehensive Montessori curriculum. This includes subjects such as language, mathematics, sensorial activities, practical life skills, and the arts, along with peace education and environmental stewardship. The team consists of educators and assistants who create a supportive, engaging, and enriching classroom environment that fosters each child's development and love for learning.
