Barbara Parra Salamanca is a hydrogeologist currently working at Montgomery & Associates since January 2023. Previously, Barbara was a researcher at the Centro de Estudios Avanzados en Zonas Áridas (CEAZA) from July 2021 to July 2022, contributing to the ID19I10001 project on developing a 3D groundwater reserve model to aid decision-making during droughts in the Limarí River region. Barbara also served as a laboratory assistant in Geomorphology at Universidad de Concepción in 2019 and gained practical experience in geology with a practicum at Consultora Tecnología y Geociencias, focused on a geological study project for the Empresa Nacional de Minería. Barbara holds a degree in Geology from Universidad de Concepción, where studies were completed between 2015 and 2020.
