Anthony Thomas

Anthony Thomas is a seasoned psychiatrist with extensive experience in psychiatric care. Currently serving at Montgomery County Emergency Service since July 2018, Anthony evaluates patients in psychiatric crisis and monitors severely mentally ill patients in an inpatient setting. Prior to this, Anthony completed a psychiatry residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals from June 2015 to June 2019 and held a position as a surgical resident at SUNY Health Science Center from 2012 to June 2013. Earlier in the career, Anthony worked as a program assistant at the Sierra Club from 2004 to 2005. Anthony earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from SUNY Downstate between 2005 and 2011 and holds a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology from Yale University, obtained from 1999 to 2003.
