Dawn Luedtke

Dawn Luedtke currently serves as a Councilmember for Montgomery County Council District 7, beginning in December 2022, where responsibilities include participation in the Public Safety and Health & Human Services Committees, as well as leading on Crisis Response initiatives. Prior to this role, Luedtke was an Assistant Attorney General from December 2013 to March 2023, providing counsel to the Maryland Center for School Safety and the Maryland Longitudinal Data Center. Luedtke has extensive legal experience, having worked as an Associate Attorney at various firms including The Ruckdeschel Firm LLC, Parker, Dumler & Kiely, LLP, and Anderson, Coe & King, LLP, in addition to serving as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Court of Appeals of Maryland. Earlier professional experience includes a National Account Manager position at LexisNexis and a role as Production Manager at Young Victorian Theatre Company. Luedtke earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Theatre Arts from the University of Pennsylvania.
