Phil Martin has extensive experience in fleet management and supervision, currently serving as Shop Superintendent for Montgomery County Government since October 2004. In this role, Martin oversees 54 employees, including 8 supervisors, and is responsible for the maintenance of 151 transit buses, managing a PM/repair shop, welding shop, body shop, and parts warehouse for one of the top-ranked public fleets in the nation (2016). Prior to this position, Martin worked as a Crew Chief at Gaithersburg Equipment Company and held the role of Mechanic/Welder at R.L. Keith & Sons Heavy Equipment Repair, where Martin also served as Shop Foreman.
