David Clayton

David Clayton has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. David began their career as an Application Engineer Co-op at Structural Dynamics Research Corporation, where they gained experience in solid modeling and analysis software. David then worked as a Support Engineer at Siemens PLM Software, specializing in Finite Element Analysis software and providing technical support and training. Following that, they became self-employed and operated a recording studio, consulting in acoustical design and providing audio production services.

David transitioned into the technology industry and worked as a Productivity Consultant at Vitalyst, where they designed and maintained databases, developed advanced automation in Excel, and provided expert support for Microsoft Office. David then joined Montgomery Investment Technology, Inc. as a Software Engineer and later as a Senior Software Engineer. In these roles, they contributed to the development of serverless quantitative finance software, engineered scalable applications using ASP.NET and Azure, and programmed in various languages such as C#, C++, VB6, and VBA.
