Tom McManus is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Head of School at Montgomery School since June 2020. Previously, McManus held the position of Head of Mission and CEO at Revolution School, where responsibilities included developing the organization’s vision and ensuring effective operations. Prior roles consist of High School Principal at Mid-Pacific Institute, Head of Upper School at St. Paul's School (MD), and various positions at The Tatnall School, including Assistant Head of Upper School and Director of Studies. Earlier career highlights include serving as a College Advisor at Groton School and Senior Regional Director of Admissions at the University of Pennsylvania. McManus holds an MA in Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a BA in English from the University of Pennsylvania.
