Thomas Kernreiter

Thomas Kernreiter is a Senior Data Scientist at Montoux since August 2019, with previous experience as a Data Scientist at Trade Me from November 2017 to August 2019. Thomas has a strong background in academic research, having served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics at Victoria University of Wellington from February 2010 to October 2017, focusing on mathematical modeling of novel materials and algorithmic search strategies. Additionally, Thomas held postdoctoral positions at the University of Otago, Instituto Superior Técnico, and the University of Vienna, contributing to research in theoretical particle physics and securing funding for research projects. Thomas earned a Ph.D. in Theoretical Particle Physics from the University of Vienna between 2000 and 2003.
