Christian Zylstra

Christian Zylstra is an experienced professional in athletic communications and sports broadcasting. Currently serving as the Director of Athletic Communications at Montreat College since August 2021, Christian has previously held roles including Assistant Director of Athletic Communications at the same institution. Prior experience includes working as a Play-by-Play Announcer for Community First Broadcasting and serving as Station Announcer and Sponsorship Coordinator at KDCR 88.5 FM, where responsibilities encompassed hosting various shows and managing social media accounts. Christian also worked as a Sports Writer and interned at ESPN 99.1 FM, along with contributing as a Sports Writer for the N'West Iowa Review. Christian holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from Dordt University.
