Mari Steinbach Cprp, Mpa

Mari Steinbach, CPRP, MPA has over 20 years of experience in the field of Parks & Recreation. Mari currently serves as the Executive Director of the Montrose Recreation District. Prior to this, they held the position of Parks & Recreation Director for the City of Greenville, South Carolina. Mari has also worked as a Recreation Service Area Manager for the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board, overseeing operations and resources for multiple recreation centers and satellite parks. Mari has experience in sales and customer service through their roles at skirack and REI. Mari has held several leadership positions, including Parks & Recreation Director for the City of Burlington, VT, Parks & Recreation Manager for the City of Scottsdale, and Recreation Division Manager for the Municipality of Anchorage. Mari began their career as a Recreation Superintendent for the City of Grand Junction. Mari holds a CPRP certification and an MPA degree.

Mari Steinbach, CPRP, MPA has a comprehensive education history. From 1998 to 2000, Mari pursued a Master's degree in Public Administration (MPA) with a focus on Local Government at the University of Colorado Denver. Prior to that, from 1984 to 1987, they attended Colorado State University where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, specializing in Recreation Resources Management.
