Biola Alabi

Biola Alabi is a Nigerian media executive and entrepreneur. Biola is the Managing Director of M-Net Africa, a subsidiary of Naspers. Biola is also a board member at Monty Mobile.

Alabi started their career in 2008 as a business analyst at Unilever Nigeria PLC. Biola left Unilever in November 2008 to join MNET AFRICA, a NASPERS company, as Managing Director Africa.

Under Alabi's leadership, M-Net Africa has expanded its operations across Africa with projects such as Big Brother Africa, the Face of Africa, and the launch of channels in Swahili, Hausa, and Yoruba. Biola has also spear-headed the multi-channel expansion of the AfricaMagic brand into eight channels.

In addition to their work at M-Net Africa, Alabi is also a Yale World Fellow (2014) and a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader (2012). Biola has won numerous awards for their work, including the 2013 AABLA West African Business Woman of the Year.

Biola Alabi has a certificate in Transformational Leadership from the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford. Biola also has a certificate in Global Leadership and Public Policy for the 21st Century from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government. Biola holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of Cincinnati. Biola is also certified from the IDEP - African Institute for Economic Development and Planning & UNECA in African Women Investors Training Programme.
