Jinesh Varia

Jinesh Varia is currently an Advisor at MontyCloud. Prior to that, they were the Senior Director of Product Management at Hitachi Insight Group from November 2016 to March 2018. In this role, they led the team of product managers to drive the vision and strategy for Lumada Industrial IoT Platform and Solutions, product management side, helping all internal Hitachi Business Units leverage the power of connected products and ultimately drive efficiency, productivity and reliability of their industrial products with the power of data, algorithms, visuals and notification so they can provide more value to their customers.

Some of their key accomplishments during their time at Hitachi Insight Group include leading the team to drive vision, strategy and operations of Industrial Analytics, Machine Learning, Applications/Solutions Framework and Visualization components; development and deployment of scalable IoT analytics workflows on a micro-services architecture such as Remaining Useful Life Estimation, Operation Behavior Analysis, Maintainance effectiveness and performance degradation; developing a unique way to transcribe Operational Technology and Domain knowledge from the field into rules, analytics, visuals and notifications; enabling several Industrial smart assets manufacturing, mining, transportation and building systems customers and build end-to-end digital transformation solutions; working with Edge, connectivity and Hardware partners to build a robust scalable and secure solution in the AWS Cloud; driving the Analyst and PR reviews including the Gartner Industrial IoT Magic Quadrant.

Jinesh Varia has a Masters of Science in Information Systems (Management) from Penn State University. Jinesh was a Research Student in Computer Science at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Jinesh also has a Bachelors of Engineering in Electronics from the University of Mumbai.
