Alan Mercer

Alan Mercer is a seasoned information security professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Group Chief Information Security Officer at Monument Re Group, Alan has previously held CISO positions at The Openwork Partnership and significant roles such as Director of Technology Services at Paragon Customer Communications and IT Governance Director at RR Donnelley. Early career experiences include various IT security roles at iPipeline and volunteer work as an ICT Trainer in Ethiopia. Alan holds a Master’s degree in Information Security from Luleå University of Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from the University of Leeds.
