Carlo Elsinghorst

Carlo Elsinghorst has extensive work experience in the financial and insurance industry. Carlo is currently the Group CEO at Monument Re Group since October 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Group CFO from April 2022 to September 2023 and as the CEO of Monument Life Insurance DAC from November 2020 to March 2022. Before joining Monument Re Group, Carlo held the position of CFRO (Directeur Financien & Risicomanagement) at Monuta from January 2016 to October 2020. Prior to that, Carlo worked as an actuarial consultant at Mercer from 1998 to 2001 and as an actuarial trainee at Watson Wyatt from 1996 to 1998.

Carlo Elsinghorst pursued their higher education in a chronological manner, starting with their enrollment at Delft University of Technology in 1990. There, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in mathematics, concluding their studies in 1996. Following this, they attended the University of Amsterdam from 1996 to 1998, earning another MSc degree in actuarial science.
