Katharine Bishop Acma

Katharine Bishop ACMA has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Katharine currently holds the position of Head of Strategic Change at Monument Re Group, a role they started in August 2022. Prior to that, they worked at StarStone Insurance as the Head of Strategy & Chief of Staff from January 2019 to August 2022.

Before their role at StarStone Insurance, Katharine served as the Head of Planning at Validus Reinsurance, Ltd. from June 2015 to September 2018. Katharine'swork experience also includes positions at Tysers, where they held the role of Group Strategy & Communications Director from July 2011 to November 2014. Katharine was also a Group Business Analyst at Tysers from January 2009 to July 2011.

Katharine has additional experience as a Project Manager at Alexander Forbes Financial Services Limited from April 2008 to January 2009, and as a Financial Analyst at Alexander Forbes International Limited from July 2005 to December 2007. Katharine also worked as an Executive Assistant / Company Secretary at Media-Spark Limited from May 2003 to November 2003, and as an Executive Assistant at Making Waves Communications Limited from September 2001 to May 2003.

Katharine Bishop ACMA has a diverse education history. In 1997, they began their higher education at the University of East Anglia, where they obtained a BSc Hons degree in Business Management, specializing in Business Administration, Management, and Operations. Continuing their educational pursuits, in 2000 they attended City College Norwich, completing a Higher Diploma in Business Administration. Moving forward, they enrolled at The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants from 2006 to 2009, successfully becoming a Qualified Management Accountant. Lastly, in 2013, they attended the Institute of Leadership & Management to obtain an IML Diploma in Leadership & Management.
