Chase Cates is an accomplished professional in media sales and marketing within the sports industry, currently serving as the Director of Media Sales at Monumental Sports & Entertainment since September 2022. Previously, Cates held positions as Senior Account Executive at NBC Sports Washington and NBCUniversal Media, developing significant marketing strategies for various networks. Experience includes directing marketing partnerships for the Washington Redskins, where Cates created on-air and digital programs for prominent sports talk shows and events. Early career roles encompassed account management at WTOP News and sports account executive positions at ESPN 980/Redskins Radio and Treseler Marketing, alongside internships at the Washington Nationals and Elias Sports Bureau. Cates holds a Master’s degree in Sports Industry Management from Georgetown University and a Bachelor's degree in Sport Management from Methodist University.
