Daniel Medina Leal

Daniel Medina Leal currently serves as the Chief of Athlete Care & Performance at Monumental Sports & Entertainment since July 2019. Prior to this role, Daniel held the position of Vice President of Athletic Care with the Philadelphia 76ers from July 2017 to July 2019 and worked at FC Barcelona from April 2006 to September 2017 as Deputy Director of Sports Science & Medical Department and Team Physician. Earlier experience includes consulting at Instituto Canario de Ortopedia y Traumatologia between 1998 and 2003. Daniel's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from Universidad de Murcia, participation in the Executive Education Program at Harvard Business School, and several degrees in Sports Medicine and Medicine from prestigious institutions.
