Zachary Leonsis

Zachary Leonsis currently serves as the President of Media & New Enterprises at Monumental Sports & Entertainment, a role held since June 2011, overseeing notable brands such as the NHL’s Washington Capitals and the NBA’s Washington Wizards. In addition to this leadership position, Zachary is a board member at Team Liquid, an esteemed esports organization, and Cllct, a collectible media platform founded by Darren Rovell. Zachary contributes to the sports industry as a Media Committee Member for the WNBA and as a Media & Broadcast Committee Member for the NBA G League. Engagement in education includes serving on the Board of Advisors at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and being part of the Advisory Group for Georgetown Entrepreneurship. Previous roles include membership on the Executive Committee for the NBA 2K League and the Governor's Advisory Board on Service & Volunteerism in Virginia. Zachary holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Commerce from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Georgetown University.
