Ben Marengo

Ben Marengo is an experienced data engineering professional currently serving as the Head of Data Engineering and Principal Data Engineer at MONY Group plc since June 2021. Previously, Ben held the position of Senior Data Engineer and Team Lead at Just Eat Takeaway.com from January 2017 to May 2021, where responsibilities included leading a cross-functional team and managing data ingestion pipelines using various technologies including GCP, Dataflow, and Airflow. Prior roles include Business Intelligence Engineer at Spreadshirt, where Ben developed big data solutions and facilitated data analytics, and Analyst Programmer at Inform Information Systems Ltd, working on bespoke pricing solutions for major clients. Ben holds a Master’s degree in Physics from The University of Manchester, completed in 2009.
