Peter Berg Steffensen

Peter Berg Steffensen has extensive work experience in the tech industry, with a focus on music and innovation. Peter Berg is the Founder, EVP, and Chief Innovation Officer at Moodagent since September 2017. Prior to that, they were the Founder and CEO of Moodagent from August 2000 to September 2017.

Additionally, Peter worked as the Chief Music Strategist at Playahead from January 2004 to April 2007. In this role, they were responsible for the international expansion and partnering of the social network service, with a particular focus on virtual world communities and personalized music services. Peter Berg also founded Syntonetic and co-invented various music technologies, including Moodagent, Moodplayer, and Music Recipe.

Before Playahead, Peter served as the CTO at Dimac AB from March 2001 to August 2002 and at Brokerserver from September 1998 to March 2001. Peter Berg began their career as a Senior Consultant at Viscon A/S from 1998 to 1999 and as an International Projects Manager at CRI A/S - Terma A/S from 1994 to 1998.

Peter Berg Steffensen attended Gl Hellerup Gymnasium from 1980 to 1983, but did not obtain a degree or pursue any specific field of study during this period. Peter Berg later enrolled at Copenhagen Business School in 1986 and completed their studies in 1992, earning a M.Sc. in Computer Science, AI & Economics.
