Pete Distler

Pete Distler has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Pete began their career at AT&T, where they held various management positions in international market development and consumer services business development. Pete then joined Sprint, where they served as General Manager for mobile advertising services and GPS/LBS products and services. Following their time at Sprint, Pete served as President of Smarter Agent, where they built a real estate media business. Pete later joined TracFone Wireless as the GM/Director for Value Added Services, leading numerous growth businesses. Pete also served as Chief Operating Officer at Netpage, a media venture focused on innovative mobile AR/VR experiences. Prior to their current role, Pete was a Strategy Consultant at Alpha Omega Media Services, advising on mobile media strategy and innovation. Pete is currently the Director of IT Digital Services at Moody Bible Institute, overseeing a wide range of digital initiatives and operations for a nonprofit ministry. Additionally, Pete has served as an Advisory Board Member at GoGig, a company specializing in job matching using a data-driven approach. Throughout their career, Pete has demonstrated expertise in technology strategy, product management, marketing, and innovation process development in the mobile media industry.

Pete Distler has pursued executive education in various fields at top institutions. Pete completed a program in AI/ML/NLP at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Pete also received executive education in strategic negotiations from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, new product strategy and implementing strategy from The Wharton School, and managing innovation and entrepreneurship for corporate growth from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. In addition, Pete holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland. Pete also obtained a Master's degree in Non-Profit and Ministry Leadership from Moody Theological Seminary.
