James Hixon

James Hixon is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and architecture across various organizations. Currently serving as Managing Director of Platform Engineering at Moody's Corporation since September 2019, Hixon previously held positions such as Senior Director of Engineering/Architecture at Ally, where James established automated platforms for financial services. Hixon's expertise encompasses cloud strategy and infrastructure management, reflected in roles at TIAA, including Senior Manager of Cloud Strategy and Engineering, and earlier positions in international network services at Wachovia. Hixon began a robust technical career in network design and implementation at Okuma America Corporation and served as a Sergeant in Data Communications for the United States Marine Corps. Hixon holds educational qualifications from East Carolina University and Hawaii Pacific University.
