Jad Fayad

Manager of Systems Engineering & Test at Moon Surgical

Jad Fayad has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. Jad began their career as an Industrial Trainee at SEGULA Technologies in 2013. Jad then moved on to a Research Intern role at SKF Group in 2014, followed by a Research Intern role at Berkeley Lab in 2015. In 2016, Jad worked as a Biomechanics Research Intern at CNRS and a Junior Product Manager of Nuclear Medicine at GE Healthcare. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Robotics Engineer at LEONI, where they were responsible for developing the software of a patient-positioning robot for proton therapy systems and managing integration & installation projects in clinical systems. Most recently, they have been a Senior Systems Engineer at Moon Surgical since 2021.

Jad Fayad began their educational journey in 2011 when they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering from INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon. In 2014, they attended the MIT Entrepreneurship Bootcamp at the MIT Sloan School of Management and obtained the Entrepreneurship and Acheivement certification from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). In 2015, they obtained a Master's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1. Jad then completed a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne in 2017.
