Richard Johnston

Richard Johnston is an experienced creative professional with a strong background in resource management and contract coordination within the publishing and entertainment sectors. Currently serving as the Creative Resource Manager at Moonbug Entertainment since March 2022, Richard previously held the same title at VideoSmart from June 2016 to December 2021, overseeing video production and a team of creatives. Richard's prior experience includes roles at Bloomsbury Publishing Plc and Random House as a Creative Contracts Executive and Administrator, respectively, where responsibilities involved coordinating contractual needs for various creative professionals. Richard also worked as Managing Editor and Art Director at Berryland Books and BOXER BOOKS LIMITED, in addition to a successful freelance career as an artist and illustrator from 1995 to 2007. Richard holds a BA Honours in Illustration from Middlesex University, obtained between 1991 and 1994.
