Rick Clarke

Rick Clarke is an experienced urban planner currently serving as a Senior Strategic Planner at Moonee Valley City Council since October 2018, where responsibilities include the development of strategic land use plans and the implementation of walkable neighbourhood initiatives. Prior roles at the Council include Strategic Planner and Statutory Planner, managing planning applications and engaging with stakeholders to ensure community benefits from developments. Prior to this, Rick worked as an Assistant Town Planner at Tract Consultants, where skills in planning documentation and analysis were developed, and held roles in the insurance sector at Allianz Australia Limited, where account management and underwriting for high-value clients were key responsibilities. Rick holds a Master of Urban Planning from the University of Melbourne and dual bachelor's degrees in Management and Marketing from Monash University.
