Ruth Harland

Ruth Harland is a seasoned professional with diverse experience in engineering, policy, and utility management. Currently serving as a Utilities Officer at both Moonee Valley City Council and Maribyrnong City Council since August 2021 and December 2022 respectively, Ruth has previously held roles such as Sustainable Systems Engineer at PowerPlus Energy, and Consultant while self-employed. Ruth’s background includes engineering positions at CarbonetiX and RMIT University, as well as significant policy and administrative roles within various departments of the Victorian government. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Sustainable Systems from RMIT University, a Graduate Diploma in Environmental Science from Monash University, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Information Management and Chemistry from Deakin University.
