Stephen Camilleri serves as the Director of Audit & Assurance at Moore Australia since January 2021. Prior to this role, Stephen was a Partner in Assurance Services at Nexia Edwards Marshall from August 2011 to December 2020, following the merger of Edwards Marshall and Nelson Wheeler Nexia. Stephen's career in auditing began at Nelson Wheeler Nexia, where tenure included roles as an Auditor from 1990 to 2006 and as an Audit and Assurance Partner from July 2006 to July 2011. Additionally, Stephen gained experience working as an Auditor at Goldstein Golub Kessler for three months in early 2000, during which time an assignment involved auditing hedge funds at the Nexia office in New York. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from the University of Adelaide and a Bachelor of Economics, Accounting from Flinders University, along with the designation of Fellow from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand since 1991.
