Lynne Horoschak

Lynne Horoschak has been a significant figure in art education since 1994, currently serving as the Graduate Program Manager for the MA in Art Education with an Emphasis in Special Populations at Moore College of Art & Design, the only program of its kind in the nation. With a career that began in the School District of Philadelphia, including 10 years at Clymer Elementary and later at Loesche Elementary, Lynne transitioned to academia after retirement from teaching in 2003, assuming leadership roles such as Chair of Art Education at Moore. Lynne has actively contributed to the Pennsylvania Art Education Association as a board member focused on Arts in Special Education and co-chairs the board of ArtWell, demonstrating a commitment to advancing art education, particularly for children with disabilities. Lynne holds a BS in Art Education from Moore College of Art and Design and additional credentials from Temple University’s Tyler School of Art.
