Joe McCoy

Joe McCoy has extensive work experience in the field of tax management and advisory. Joe most recently worked at Moore Colson CPAs and Advisors from December 2019 to the present as a Tax Director. Prior to that, they held the role of Senior Tax Manager at the same company from July 2022 to December 2022. From December 2019 to July 2022, Joe served as a Tax Manager at Moore Colson CPAs and Advisors. Before joining Moore Colson CPAs and Advisors, Joe worked as a Senior Tax Manager at PYA from November 2018 to September 2019. Joe also worked as a Manager at Cherry Bekaert LLP from September 2015 to October 2018 and as a Senior Tax Manager at CBIZ from September 2004 to September 2015.

Joe McCoy attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 1999 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting. Later on, from 2003 to 2004, Joe pursued further education at the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, obtaining a Master of Accountancy degree with a specialization in Tax Accounting.
