Zachary Smith

Zachary Smith serves as a Senior Lecturing Fellow at Duke University School of Law since January 2016 and is a Partner and Co-Head of the Financial Restructuring Team at Moore & Van Allen, PLLC since August 2013. Previously, Zachary held the position of Lecturer in Law at Boston University School of Law from August 2012 to May 2018, and worked as a Partner at O'Melveny & Myers LLP for a brief period in 2013. Prior experience includes serving as Special Counsel at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP from May 2007 to May 2013 and as an Associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP from September 2003 to April 2007. Educational qualifications include an A.B. with Cum Laude honors in English and American Literature and Language from Harvard University and a Doctor of Law (JD) from Boston University, as well as a Certificate in Leadership Principles from Harvard Business School Online in 2020.
