Karel van de Steene

Karel Van De Steene is a seasoned tax professional currently serving as Co-founder of O’toile since January 2024 and Manager of Business & International Tax at Moore Belgium since September 2023. Karel is also an ITAA Certified Tax Advisor with the Institute for Tax Advisors and Accountants since April 2023. Prior experience includes a progression at Deloitte from Junior Tax Consultant to Senior Tax Consultant between October 2017 and September 2023, alongside an internship at Deloitte Belgium in March to May 2017. Karel holds a Master’s degree in Commercial Sciences - Taxation from Ghent University (2013-2017) and a Postgraduate degree in Fiscal Sciences from Fiscale Hogeschool Brussel (2017-2019), complemented by secondary education in Economics - Sciences from Sint-Gertrudiscollege Wetteren (2007-2013).
