Matthew Couch

Matthew Couch is an experienced litigation attorney with a strong focus on general and commercial litigation. Currently serving at Moorhead Law Group since August 2021, Couch has previously held litigation attorney roles at Clark Partington from March 2019 to August 2021, and at Cabaniss, Johnston, Gardner, Dumas & O'Neal LLP from September 2012 to March 2019, where the practice concentrated on civil litigation within the transportation sector, specifically railroad personal injury claims and regulatory compliance. Additionally, Couch gained valuable experience as a law clerk to Chief Judge Sharon L. Blackburn at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama from September 2011 to September 2012. Education credentials include a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Samford University and a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in English from Appalachian State University.
