Ellie Jones

Ellie has 9 years of experience working in the Energy & Utilities industry, working in operational, transformational, and strategic roles across Europe and the Middle East

Ellie has worked in a variety of roles across many aspects of the energy industry, including energy retail, generation, and electricity distribution. Most recently she worked with the c-suite of an energy generation company to define their UK strategy, ensuring it aligned to their group strategy and industry decarbonization priorities.

Other roles have seen Ellie supporting the implementation of IT systems, mobilizing portfolio offices, designing processes for new technologies ensuring the change is embedded, and supporting strategic transformations. She has worked with all levels of businesses and thrives in complex stakeholder environments.

Before joining Moorhouse Ellie worked as an engineer in the oil and gas industry in both offshore and onshore operational roles, which provided her with firm technical foundations and the ability to work under pressure in hostile environments.

Ellie’s passion is sustainability and can often be found at her allotment attempting to grow her food, or researching ways to live a more eco-friendly life. She volunteers with CAFOD through her church, selling her allotment goodies to raise money for charity. Ellie is also a keen walker and spends her holidays walking sections of the Camino de Santiago to complete the whole route.
