Lilia Magana

Lilia Magana has extensive work experience in the education sector. Lilia started their career as a School Psychologist in La Cañada Unified School District in 2006 and continued in that role until 2012. Lilia then joined Simi Valley Unified School District as a School Psychologist from 2012 to 2016. After that, they became a Program Specialist in the same district from 2016 to 2018. Currently, Lilia is the Director of Special Education at Moorpark Unified School District, where they have been working since 2018.

Lilia Magana has a diverse education history spanning over twenty years. Lilia began their academic journey at UCLA from 1999 to 2002, where they focused on the study of Psychology. Following this, Lilia attended Chapman University from 2003 to 2006, obtaining their Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree with a specialization in School Psychology.

In 2016, they enrolled at California Lutheran University to pursue an Administrative Credential in Educational Leadership and Administration, completing their studies in 2017. Building upon their previous degrees, Lilia continued their education at the same institution, returning in 2022 and is expected to complete their Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Administration, General in 2025.
