Axel Candia has held a number of roles in the technology industry since 2015. Axel began their career as a Full Stack Engineer at Visa in 2015, where they worked as an external contractor for Consensus. Axel then held the role of Lead Developer at MentorRoom in 2016, followed by Full Stack Engineer at Finnegans and Chief Technology Officer at Smarketeer in the same year. In 2017, they were appointed Chief Technology Officer at Ando., where they maintained two mobile apps and two web applications, directed a team of four JavaScript developers, and migrated the platform from .NET. In 2019, they were promoted to Lead Developer at Moova, the company that acquired Ando. in 2018.
