Vikas Naiyar

Vikas Naiyar is an accomplished technology professional currently serving as an Angel Investor at Mopid since June 2022. From August 2022 to July 2025, Vikas holds the position of Head of Engineering at BaseRock.ai, a company focused on innovative Generative AI technology for test code generation, where Vikas has successfully built the BaseRock AI Unit product from inception. Previously, Vikas was the Director of Software Engineering at Harness from November 2018 to July 2022, contributing significantly to the company's revenue growth by designing and scaling the Harness Platform and expanding the engineering team. Earlier career experiences include roles as Vice President at Morgan Stanley, where Vikas managed the Wealth Management Sales Link application, and as Lead Software Engineer at SuccessFactors, focusing on report generation modules. Vikas began the career as a Software Engineer at Morgan Stanley, working on reporting applications for the Prime Brokerage division.
