Santosh Acharekar

Santosh Acharekar has extensive experience in the adhesive and flexible packaging industry. Santosh served as the Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer at MORCHEM Pvt Ltd, where they established a new company and oversaw manufacturing, sales, and business development activities. Prior to that, Santosh was the Head of the Flexible Packaging Adhesive Business at Baalbaki Group SA. Santosh also held various leadership roles at Henkel Adhesives Technologies India Pvt. Ltd, including Regional TCS Manager, Head of Product Development & Process Engineering, and Assistant General Manager of Technical Services. Before transitioning into the adhesive industry, Santosh worked in quality assurance and product development roles at DCW Home Products Limited and Hindustan Foods Ltd. Santosh started their career as a Senior Chemist at Britannia Industries Limited and conducted research as a Research Officer at The Tata Oil Mills Company Limited. Santosh holds a background in food technology and began their career as a Food Technologist at Monginis Foods Limited.

Santosh Acharekar's education history is as follows:

- From 1990 to 1993, they attended Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) and earned a Masters Degree in Administration; Personnel & Administration Management.

- In 2011, they attended Benchmark Six Sigma and obtained a Black Belt in Six Sigma.

- In 2010, they completed the LA Course ISO 22000 (FSMS) at the British Standards Institute, India, focusing on ISO 22000:2005.

- In 2005, they attended QMS and became a Lead Auditor in ISO 9000:2000.

- From 1996 to 1997, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Packaging Technology at the Indian Institute of Packaging.

- In 1995, they obtained a Diploma in Quality Systems & Management from the National Centre for Quality Management.

- From 1985 to 1988, they studied at Laxmi Nararayan Institute of Technology and earned a Bsc Tech in Food Technology.

- From 1980 to 1985, they attended Parle College (Sathaye College) and obtained a Bsc in Chemistry.

- In 2009, they obtained a Green Belt in Six Sigma from Benchmark Six Sigma.

- Their secondary education was completed at Prarthana Samaj School, where they earned their SSC.
