Rajiv Laroia

Rajiv Laroia is a prominent technology leader with extensive experience in the telecommunications sector. As the Cofounder and CTO of More AI since September 2022 and previously of Light from March 2013 to May 2022, Laroia has been instrumental in advancing communication technologies. Prior to these roles, Laroia served as CTO at Sonus Networks and held the position of Sr. VP at Qualcomm Flarion Technologies, where contributions to the development of peer-to-peer communication technology 'flashlinq' were made. Laroia founded Flarion Technologies, which developed OFDMA mobile broadband wireless technology, now integral to LTE, and was acquired by Qualcomm for $805 million in 2006. Additional experience includes roles as Director at Lucent Technologies Bell Labs and as a Member of Technical Staff at AT&T Bell Labs. Laroia's educational background includes a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland and a B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
