Don Bosco Durai

Don Bosco Durai has a diverse range of work experience in the technology industry. Don Bosco co-founded Privacera in 2016 and served as the Chief Technology Officer. Privacera specializes in data security and governance for cloud and hybrid cloud deployments.

Prior to that, Don Bosco was involved with The Apache Software Foundation, starting in 2014. Don Bosco was a founding member of Apache Ranger, a comprehensive security solution for the Hadoop ecosystem. Don Bosco also worked as an Apache Ambari Committer, simplifying and automating security setup within Hadoop clusters, and as an Apache HAWQ Committer.

From 2014 to 2016, Don Bosco worked at Hortonworks as an Enterprise Security Architect, where they were in charge of implementing security features across all components of the Hadoop eco-system.

Before that, they co-founded XA Secure in 2013 and served as the Chief Architect. XA Secure addressed security challenges within Big Data and introduced centralized policy management and auditing for distributed Big Data components.

Don Bosco was the Chief Technology Officer at Cignifi Inc. from 2012 to 2013. Don Bosco led the architecture and implementation of Cignifi's Big Data cloud deployment.

From 2007 to 2012, Don Bosco worked at Oracle as a Senior Director, leading security and governance products for enterprise, financial institutes, and healthcare.

Don Bosco co-founded Bharosa Inc. in 2005 and served as the Chief Architect and Vice President of Engineering. Bharosa developed technologies to detect and prevent fraudulent transactions in real-time and implemented a high-performance solution.

Earlier in their career, Don Bosco worked at Core Mobility as an Architect and Engineering Lead, designing and implementing mobile platforms. Don Bosco also worked at Teraburst Networks and Open Management Software, Inc, where they served as a Principal Architect, Engineering Lead, and Engineering Lead respectively.
