Raul Velarde

Raul Velarde is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in construction, engineering, and sustainability. Currently serving as the Director of ESG at CP Group, Raul focuses on aligning the company with industry standards and regulatory changes in environmental, social, and governance practices. Prior to this role, Raul spent over eight years at Turner Construction Company in various positions, including Development Lead, Sustainability Manager, and SPO Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed project management, sustainability initiatives, and budgeting. Raul's early career included roles at Tetra Tech and the University of Miami, demonstrating a strong foundation in engineering and community-oriented projects. Raul holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from the University of Miami, complemented by executive education at Harvard Business School and Kellogg.
