Morten Mortensen

Morten Mortensen has extensive experience in the transportation and civil engineering sectors, currently serving as a Sikkerhetskontrollør at Møre og Romsdal fylkeskommune since January 2020. Prior to this role, Morten held the position of Prosjektkoordinator for Nordøyvegen and larger infrastructure projects at MØRE OG ROMSDAL FYLKESKOMMUNE SAMFERDSELSAVDELINGA from August 2018 to January 2020. A significant portion of Morten's career was spent at Asplan Viak AS, where responsibilities included Senior Consultant and National team leader for tunnel projects from August 1998 to September 2018. Morten also worked at Statens vegvesen as an Avdelingsingeniør in the planning section of the Development Department between October 1984 and August 1998, and began a career as an Ingeniør at Kystverket from 1981 to 1984. Morten holds a Master's degree in Road technology from Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet (NTNU), a privatist degree in Veg og anlegg from NTH, and a Bachelor's degree in Bygg og anlegg from Narvik Ingeniørhøgskole.
