Sarah O'Carroll has a diverse range of work experience. Most recently, they worked at the Morehead-Cain Foundation as a Content Manager in the Department of Marketing & Communications. Sarah'sresponsibilities included developing and curating content for digital communications, managing social media platforms, and writing newsletters and email marketing pieces. Sarah also produced and hosted a podcast series called Catalyze. Prior to that, Sarah worked at the University at Albany, SUNY as a Communications Specialist, focusing on digital content production and media relations. Sarah created, produced, and hosted the university's first research-based podcast series. Sarah's previous experience includes working as a News Reporter and Videographer for Viking Fusion, a Freelance Writer for Hometownheadlines.com, and as a Communications Supervisor, Social Media Manager, and Tour Guide at Berry College's Oak Hill & The Martha Berry Museum. Sarah also served as a Librarian at Berry College Memorial Library.

Sarah O'Carroll has a comprehensive education history. Sarah obtained their Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Journalism with a minor in Spanish from Berry College in 2017. In 2019, Sarah pursued a Master's degree in Political Science from the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy at the University at Albany, SUNY. Sarah completed this degree program in 2022. Additionally, Sarah took two professional development courses at the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media in 2022. The first course focused on Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication, while the second course delved into Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations.
