Kinnis Gosha has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Kinnis is currently the Executive Director and Chief Research Officer at Morehouse College since October 2022. Kinnis is also the Hortenius I. Chenault Endowed Professor of Computer Science and Program Director for Software Engineering at Morehouse College. In addition, they serve as the Division Chair for Experiential Learning and Interdisciplinary Studies at Morehouse College from July 2019 to July 2022. Kinnis has also held the roles of Hortenius I. Chenault Endowed Associate Professor and Academic Program Director for Software Engineering at Morehouse College.
Kinnis has also worked as an Affiliate Faculty Member at Georgia Institute of Technology since August 2019 and as a Diversity & Inclusion Summer Research Fellow at Dell in June-August 2019. Kinnis served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Clemson University from September 2017 to July 2019.
Furthermore, Kinnis has experience as an Intern (Faculty in Residence) at Google in June-July 2017. Kinnis started their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at Clemson University and IBM Research in various roles. Kinnis also had a summer internship at Synovus in the Business IT Partner Group.
Kinnis Gosha earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Human Centered Computing from Clemson University from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Masters in Computer Science from Auburn University from 2005 to 2009. Kinnis obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Albany State University from 2001 to 2005. Kinnis'seducation journey began at Central High School from 1996 to 2001.
