Kinnis Gosha has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Kinnis is currently the Executive Director and Chief Research Officer at Morehouse College since October 2022. Kinnis is also the Hortenius I. Chenault Endowed Professor of Computer Science and Program Director for Software Engineering at Morehouse College. In addition, they serve as the Division Chair for Experiential Learning and Interdisciplinary Studies at Morehouse College from July 2019 to July 2022. Kinnis has also held the roles of Hortenius I. Chenault Endowed Associate Professor and Academic Program Director for Software Engineering at Morehouse College.

Prior to that, they completed their Masters in Computer Science from Auburn University from 2005 to 2009. Kinnis obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Albany State University from 2001 to 2005. Kinnis'seducation journey began at Central High School from 1996 to 2001.
