Alex Amenabar

Alex Amenabar is President and Co-Owner of MBC. He joined the firm in 2009 as a Partner, with the responsibility to develop MBC’s relationships with the Navy, Department of Homeland Security, and the US Agency for International Development. As President, Alex leads MBC’s strategic direction and business development efforts with a particular focus on fostering a culture consistent with the Manifesto.

Alex started his career as an active-duty Surface Warfare Officer in the US Navy. In 1995, he joined KMPG/BearingPoint, eventually becoming a Managing Director leading large transformation-based, FMS, IT, and logistics programs in support of the US Navy, Air Force, and Army.

Alex is an expert in Strategic Planning, Organizational Transformation, and International Cooperation. He supports senior executives in government and industry, providing strategic guidance and executive coaching. He also has deep experience in business development, project delivery, and employee development in the Federal marketplace.

Alex holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics from Norwich University and an M.B.A. from the University of South Carolina.
