David Smith

David Smith is an accomplished operations executive with extensive experience in supply chain management and manufacturing. Currently serving as the Director of Operations at Morgan Truck Body since June 2022, David previously held key operational leadership roles, including Operations Manager at The Bug Company of Minnesota and VP of Operations at Vitra. David's career began in process engineering at Serrot Corp and included significant positions at Alpha Packaging, Graham Packaging, and O-I, where technical expertise and strategic advantages were developed. A veteran of the United States Army Reserve, David holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Buffalo State University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
