Hattie Hampton

Hattie Hampton has extensive experience in law enforcement and education. Currently serving as a Deputy Sheriff at the Morgan County Sheriff's Office since March 1988, Hattie Hampton handles court paper services, prisoner transport, and specialized training as a Project Lifesaver Instructor. Prior to this role, Hattie Hampton was a teacher at Decatur City Schools from August 1984 to May 1988, focusing on Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance for grades K-5. Hattie Hampton's early career included positions at Sears from June 1981 to March 1988 in the catalog department, where responsibilities included shipping, receiving, and customer service. Hattie Hampton holds a BS in Health, Physical Education, and Dance from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University and pursued graduate studies in Administration at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
