Azi Amiri

Azi Amiri is an accomplished art educator and founder of ArtziZone since January 2023. Currently serving as a tenure-track Studio Art Instructor at Passaic County Community College and a Teaching Artist at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Azi has extensive experience in training educators and leading workshops for diverse audiences. Previous roles include Educator for The Morgan Library & Museum and Adjunct Assistant Professor at CUNY Medgar Evers College, where collaborations with The Met were established. Additional teaching positions at New York University and experience as a manager at Arta Art Institute highlight a strong background in art education. Azi holds a Master of Fine Arts from New York University, along with prior degrees in Fine Art from California State University, Chico, and Shahed University.
