Simon Hinks

Simon Hinks has extensive work experience in the engineering and manufacturing industry. Simon started their career at Cummins Inc. in 2000 as a Test Cell Supervisor, where they supervised engine test cells and managed daily production performance. Simon then took on roles such as Six Sigma Black Belt, completing projects that resulted in significant cost savings. Hinks also served as the New Product Introduction Manufacturing Leader for both the Fuel Systems Business and the Engine Business at Cummins Inc. In 2008, they became the Director of Manufacturing Engineering & Maintenance for the Fuel Systems Business, responsible for ensuring the availability and capability of manufacturing equipment. From 2011 to 2016, Hinks worked as the Global Director of PLM, overseeing business PLM strategy and leading a cross-functional team of 100 employees. Currently, they are the Director of Product & Program Management at Morgan Olson, where they oversee product and program management.

Simon Hinks obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from Solihull Technical College, where they studied from 1994 to 1998.
