John Hird

John Hird is an experienced Commercial Director currently serving at Morgan Sindall Construction and Infrastructure Ltd since October 2015, overseeing Highways and General Civils in the Infrastructure (Transport) sector. Hird has been with Morgan Sindall since January 2005, initially strengthening the civil engineering business unit following a significant restructuring, with responsibilities including P&L management, budget implementation, pre and post-contract duties, business development, cost control, and risk management. Hird holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Strathclyde and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Quantity Surveying from Abertay University.
